West Cheshire Warriors Netball Club is based in the heart of Chester and has led the way to inclusion across the netball community. In the two years since our journey began we have had many successes and broken boundaries within the sport.
Primarily we have given opportunity to all and have developed a club whose values are that of England Men’s and Mixed Governing body:
PASSION: For the sport of netball
EQUALITY: Championing netball for all
PRIDE: Representing England
CHARACTER: Act with integrity
PROFESSIONALISM: In everything we do
1. Develop and grow men's and mixed netball in England for all ages
2. Establish a national men's and mixed league and tournament
3. Continue to compete at EMMNA Nationals
4. Create opportunities for boys aged 11-16 to play netball
5. Governance, Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity
From the very beginning we have continued to achieve both as a club and as individuals across the various Netball leagues, tournaments and levels. Our achievements over the past two years have been outstanding and we continue to celebrate these as a club so please come back to our News section where we share them.
We have continued to represent in the Chester Mixed League where this all started. We now boast 3 squads with each making the top 5 and can't wait to see what happens this Summer when the league returns.
Our membership numbers have grown considerably and we are now over 40 members who train every week with a number of associate members who also join us.
Individual successes within the club include
To support our journey we have 2 sponsors who have been instrumental in all our successes and growth. We have a clear identity which we display proudly in our logo and kit. Our logo was designed by one of our own members working closely with the club and is displayed on our Flyhawk Match Kit and Malooka Training Kit. Both were agreed upon and selected as a club with each of the brands

Lauren started playing netball over 20 years ago and fell in love with the game and every aspect of it. When the opportunity came to be a part of a club like this and help mould it into what it is today, she jumped at the chance.
Netball has been a huge passion of Lauren's and she's looking forward to shaping the future of WCW and the next generation of netballers

Emily Wykes - Head Coach of Mixed
"I started playing netball at the age of 7 at Chester Netball Club, where I have played continuously to this day. I've played at a number of levels including both County and National and I have recently played for NE Wales in the Senior National League where we finished 2nd.
I joined WCW as I saw mixed netball as a new challenge after playing for 22 years. When the opportunity to coach the mixed team was available I jumped at it and have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. Its been a learning curve for both myself and the team and its amazing to see where we've got to so far.
Having seen the expansion of the club and the progress of the mixed team over a 1 year period, going from 12th to 6th at Nationals, I cannot wait to see where we will progress in the future. Which hopefully will include having not 1 but 2 mixed squads stamping their mark at Nationals"
Lauren Bradley - Head Coach of Men
"Placing 12th at Nationals '23 was a huge achievement for our Men's team, especially when you take into consideration that less than 12 months prior the majority had never played netball. The aim for the team now is to build on their raw talent and work together to improve on last year's performance."
